Pass through Horsington, on the B1190, and you see a typical rural Lincolnshire village. But beneath the surface there lays a rich and varied history from Roman times until the present day. Baldiric, Magdalen College and a Whiskey Baron have all been Lords of the Manor and it is the birthplace of the last man to be beheaded for leading a treasonous rebellion in 1820.
